No sky tvsky box not activating
Sky tv switch off , switch off box for ten minutes and switch box back on pressed guide no connection green light on box , but it doesn't reset , trouble with box

You will not get a Sky engineer as they don't support Sky+ boxes so you will have to find someone local to you to come out and look at your Sky+ box.

Sky no longer support Sky+ and Sky+ HD boxes so they won't send an engineer although Sky may go through some troubleshooting with you on the phone (and will no doubt encourage you to change to Sky Q / Sky Glass or Stream

After you've left the box switched off at the plug for 10 minutes, what colour is the power LED on the front when you switch the power back on at the plug? What happens when you press the power button on your Sky remote to bring the box out of standby?
