No broadband recodnised

My sky box will not connect to Catch up it says my Sky box is not connected to my broadband I have gone to sky.com/connect went in to my account it does not tell me how to connect and asked your help chat still no it helped this is ridiculous all I want to do is put in my broadband login details.

@Cancan has this box previously had an Internet connection?

Yes it has always been connected I will turn it off completely tonight and reboot it tomorrow. It was connected back on to the sky box when we put in a new fibre connection and was working, the internet is working on my sky box upstairs but on on the main sky box downstairs it says it is not connected. I cannot see where I can put my wifi network and password to log it in.

@Cancan if the box had connected successfully after your fibre upgrade, you shouldn't have to change the wifi network and password again. 

 

Before you restart your Sky box, I'd suggest restarting your broadband router as well. Switch it off for 30 seconds or so, then let it restart before restarting your Sky box.

 

If it still won't connect, the easiest way to reconnect is to press the WPS button on your Sky box (or Wireless Mini connector if you're using one) and within 30 seconds, press your router's WPS button.
