New sky+HD box requires as not working

Sky+HD box not turning on . Very old box which needs to be replaced.

@SkyHDoldbox  Sky plus being a legacy product means Sky no longer supports sells or replaces boxes 

 

you will need to call Sky and discuss options to continue receiving Sky tv services which will involve having to upgrade to one of Skys current tv products sky Q glass or stream

@SkyHDoldbox you won't be able to replace it with another Sky+ box, I'm afraid. They're obsolete. Speak to Sky about an upgrade to either Sky Q for satellite or Sky Stream via the internet.

Note that all references you may find online to acquiring a replacement second-hand box and pairing the existing viewing card are now out of date: Sky no longer permits this.

 

Given Sky+ HD ceased manufacturing a decade ago, there haven't been any 'new' boxes for a very long time.
