It may just be getting too old. Sky+ is now an obsolete system no longer supported by Sky. The boxes haven't been manufactured for a decade. You will probably need to upgrade to Sky Q or switch to Sky Stream, the fully streamed service Sky now offer which relies on your broadband rather than a satellite dish.
