Do I need a new Sky box and dish  as the Sky+ boxes are going. Just have message saying Sky+HD is not getting a signal. I have been paying for a service I can't get

No signal or no satellite signal?

If no satellite signal I'm afraid Sky no longer support Sky+ and Sky+HD set ups. You'll need to employ a local satellite engineer at your own expense to check/repair/replace the dish/LNB if that's the problem.

If you have Sky Protect insurance through Domestic and General Insurance you can call them but a recent post on here stated they wouldn't send an engineer - but they did offer the customer £65 towards arranging one themselves.

The alternative is contacting Sky to upgrade to Sky Q or change to Glass / Stream.

Unfortunately Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky+ equipment unless you have Sky Protect. You'll need to contact a local satellite engineer to take a look if you want to continue to use your Sky+ box.

The alternative is to upgrade to Sky Q or Sky Stream.

If you opt for Sky Q, any dish or cabling issues will be addressed on installation at no additional cost to you.

Sky Stream doesn't require use of a dish. Programmes are delivered via your broadband connection.

Sky+ HD boxes aren't 'going' anywhere: Sky+ (SD) has already gone (in October last year)
