Multi room SKY+

I have been a Sky+ customer for 10years. I was out of contract. Downgraded package to BB & Phone for many years. Still have SKY+HD box and mini box in bedroom. Recently upgraded to SKY Signature with multiroom/BB/talk Waiting for engineer & SKY Q visit. After I upgraded the subscription, TV package available on the main box but not the mini box in the bedroom ( message says 'upgrade your subscription). In my head- should we not be able to view 'paid' channels on the mini box?) Mini box works fine with all Freeview channels.

@DebDBakingNurse if you have ordered and waiting on sky Q installation which from the sound of your post you have done then this automatically cancels sky + subscriptions and disables existing viewing cards

my guess is that this has happened fairly quickly in the process

@DebDBakingNurse  If you have signed up for Sky Q & Sky Q mini then your nerw subs will be for that system not Sky+. Therefore Sky Q Multiroom will be available on theQ  mini when it is installed with your main Q box.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

No: the Q Multiscreen add-on is not the same product as the Sky+ (HD) Multiroom option.

Yes, you should be see your subscribed channels on both your Sky+HD box and the Multiscreen box. What error message do you see when you try to watch a subscribed channel on the Multiscreen box?

Apologies, @TimmyBGood and @GD1 are quite right - the new package applies to your Sky Q subscription.

@Mark39

I don't think so: I suspect the current subscription is Signature on Sky+ HD (before transition to Sky Q) plus Q Multiscreen waiting to be activated.  There's no Sky+ Multiroom in place, nor would Sky now offer that.

I think in this case it actually reactivated the Sky+ HD main box subscription ; )
