Missing channels

Most channels work, but at least the following channels are not working, an error message is coming up:

Witness

Atlantic

Max

Comedy

Rebooted box and couldn't get any channels. Box put up message saying no signal and wouldn't even pass the signal from the terrestrial arial through to the TV.

Performed software update, no change.

Phoned Sky.  They said a  lot of the older boxes stopped working a couple of days ago when they introduced a new box or service or something.

They immediately agreed to send a new box and an engineer to install it.

Could take over a month as they are dealing with so many people with the same problem.

Do you have Sky+ (where you've posted)? Sky no longer support Sky+ / Sky+HD issues now and there are no new boxes, they won't send you one, and they don't send out engineers for Sky+ issues.

They've moved us over to something called Sky Signature and will be installing some new kind of box which has a remote you can speak to to change channels apparently, how exciting 🙂
