Hi there,
I have an old sky box that is not used but have to keep it plugged in as we need the rf2 output still as that goes into our loft from the lounge and supplies a booster that then distributes to the other tvs in the house.
I would like to remove the sky box as we subscribe through NOW for what we need. When I remove the old sky box the other tvs do not work so I presume the 9 volt out of rf2 is needed to supply the booster in the loft to the other tvs ?
Is there a 9 volt booster out there in the market that will allow aerial in, one out to main tv in the lounge and can boost the rf2 to my loft ?
thanks in advance

The simplest solution would be purchase a power adaptor which you can connect locally to the booster in the loft, to replace the 12v output from the Sky box's RF2 socket.
If the strength of the signal from your TV aerial can accommodate it, use a coaxial Y-splitter in the lounge, to split the incoming signal into two outputs - one for your lounge TV, the other for the connection to the booster in the loft.

Thanks for the reply,
where can I purchase this power adaptor or any advice on what to purchase ?
is the output on the rf2 12 volt and not 9volt as I had been told ?
hopefully with me making the nessesary connections in the lounge the signal will be ok for that tv but will have to wait and see as there will be no boost to it as I have the cable from the aerial coming direct into there, then the link to the tv and magic eye out to the loft on the fr2 so three connections out of the old sky box.

Ok, just had a look and not seeing what I would expect, do you have a link to what I may need ?
thanks
