Looks like it's only the main BBC and ITV channels

No, I've tried lots of different channels and they are all having this issue other than Sky's own channels which seem to be pausing and rewinding for me.

 

I also tried CBBC, which showed for a few seconds then changed to a screen saying that "no programmes were currently being shown on this channel" or words to that effect.

 

Clearly a Sky issue, so we just have to wait until they fix it.

The LG remote is controlling the TV's freeview tuner or controlling the Q box?

Seeing same issue on only some  channels tested 

Film 4HD works as normal

GB News does not pause.
