Sky dish no reception due to neighbours scaffolding. Would Sky Stream be answer?

Have Sky Q and neighbours building works / scaffolding means we've had no signal for weeks. Cant even get Apps now. Nothing. Thinking of switching to Sky Stream. Would this solve the issue as it doesn't require a dish?

hi @HMP17

Yes you could switch to SKY Stream but note it is a different product in several ways and does need a good internet connection.

Unfortunately SKY Q does need a periodic 'Keep alive' signal which is sent via Satellite which is why apps & catch up cease.

You should be able to use SKY Go whilst you wait for the scaffolding to be removed

@HMP17

In the short term have you asked your neighbour how long the scaffolding will be up for?
