Have Sky DRX595C box. Lip sync out on some channels, setting the delat time in tools make matters worse as can be expected, this the affects ALL channels. Is it a setting or the box? The box is used coupled by HDMI lead to the TV, nothing else is used..

Hi, thank you for your response.
GB news on 512 most notable, one or two others 'appear' to be less slightly and not as bad. I am pretty sure it never use to be like this, also Euro news on 508 the audio is very low indeed and always has been, is this due to their modulation level??
Dave.

Have you reported it to Sky? It's not likely to 'get sorted' if they don't know you're having a problem. We're not Sky customer services here.
To cancel, give Sky a call. 31 days notice required. You may not be able to cancel if you're 'in contract'.

Hi, thank you for the reply Mark
Just been checking, I'm ot of contract.... had no communication at all. I will give them a ring as you suggested, I thought it'd get sorted here.
I do like their style, they don't tell you so you end up paying more, that is crafty. Far, far too many repeats for my liking.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Pentode lip/sync issues aren't a commonly reported problem in relation to Sky+ boxes, but in fairness, I don't know how many SkyHD boxes (DRX595) are in circulation - I suspect not that many.- and it may be peculiar to that box type.
Sky do tell you about broadband/phone contracts expiring because there's a clear regulatory requirement to do so. But they've been challenging OFCOM's similar requirement for TV contracts for a long time. It might get resolved before satellite broadcasting comes to an end, probably by the end of the decade.....
