When I record a programme, and try to play it back, nearly everytime I get a warning saying Part recorded, loss of signal due to technical fault. Could this be related to a broadband issue?

What are the Signal Strength/Qualities in the Sky Box setting?

I used to get this when my standby mode was set to on. I changed it to off or active (can't remember as it was ages ago) and this cured it for me anyway

Exactly the same issues - When I record a programme, and try to play it back, nearly everytime I get a warning saying Part recorded, loss of signal due to technical fault. This occurs probably every 5 or 10 minutes.
My Sky account is over 20 years old and the hardware has never been checked or replaced. What is the best proceedure to get this issue fixed please?

When I look at my recordings I keep getting a message saying part recorded no signal and when I try and watch what has been recorded the picture is broken disjointed distorted as if the signal is too weak… Please advise how I can sort this out

Wi-Fi has zero to do with your Sky+ TV picture, this will be a satellite signal issue between the dish and the Sky+ box

I have an engineer visit scheduled for this Monday the 23rd however it's very odd that the poor signal and part recording of shows is only on one channel

If you fully understand how satellite TV works you'd not find this odd at all

One channel? Or one channel of those you actually watch? Which channel?
