I had been thinking of cancelling sky as it is costing too much, there had been lots of offers fof new customers, where as I've been a customer a long time. I received a letter last month regarding a new sky q box free. I would like to know if there is a way of reducing the current cost before I make my final decision. I'm also not sure if tech has progressed enough so that we don't have to have a landline, for the Internet access now or whether that can be cancelled. I'm sure lots of customers are feeling the pinch like me and I just need to find put my options before I cancel. Thank you Kim Bradwell

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt hasn't been necessary to connect your Sky+ box to a phone line for a number of years. You do, however, need an internet connection both for Sky Q and for Sky+ On Demand.
You would need to speak directly to Sky to see what sort of discount they'll offer you to reduce y9ur subscription charges.

I had called Sky and got an automated response that directed me here. How do I get to speak to a person?

When asked why you're calling, say nothing and wait on the line. Eventually you should be put through to an adviser.
