Hi,
I have Sky+ but I am moving to France and it won't work over on the Med coast. I think it's illegal anyway. I have a neighbour in France who has Sky Stream, but his was a new purchase, so he can't help with moving.
There appears to be no way to do it on this site.
I am considering ending this contract and starting a new one, but I have been a customer for 19 years, and I am a big high muckamuck client (Or similar) and would rather no lose any accumulated benefits, if there are any. Also, if I do that I would need to have concurrent contracts, and thus pay twice for the month.
Can anyone advise? I think I could do it as a new customer, but as I said, that's not ideal.

Hi @Rouffian
If you already have a TV subscription then you'll need to call Sky to change to Stream. You can only have one type of TV subscription so the Sky+ will automatically cancel when you activate Stream.
Obviously you are aware Stream can only legally be used in the UK at the registered address.
Thanks,
Tim

As @Tim+Adams posted, it's no more legal to use Sky Stream beyond the UK/ROI than it is to use Sky+.

I don't think Stream is released in RoI yet. Glass launched there 25th August 2022 so Stream will probably arrive next month.

Not 'illegal', but certainly a breach of contract. There should be no expectation that Stream will continue to work (if indeed it actually does).

Re: How to change Sky box to Sky Stream.
@Rouffian As advised you cannot use any Sky services outside the UK, Sky won't sell you stream or any Satellite subscriptions in France thats a certainty.
There is nothing stopping you from using either the old Sky+ box or a generic satellite receeiver for FTA (Free to air Channels) such as BBC & ITV where there is overspill in to France from the satellite footprint with a sutably sized dish.
Subscriptions can't legitimately be sold in countries Sky don't operate in which is the UK/ROI, Germnanby & Italy (the latter 2 countries will be in their respective languages also)
