Trying to repair a card after it's been used in another box (in a care home). Can't pair it and can't connect the box back to broadband either as there's no wps button. Website has me going round in circles! Can't get through to a human so going no where

Find out more@Emmad321 You should be aware you shouldn't be using the viewing card at anywhere else but the registered address as doing so puts you in breach of contract. It's not clear from you post why the card was taken to another box at a different address.
If the Sky+ box has inbuilt wifi the wps button is on the front.

Thank you - we were told by the care home that it was fine - didn't know it was a breach of contract. No wps button. It was working 6 weeks ago and now not. It was also working ok in the care home.

Phone Sky and they can pair a viewing card remotely

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Emmad321 If it doesn't have a WPS button then it doesn't have built in Wi-Fi, so you would either have a Sky Mini Wi-Fi Connection Box attached to the Sky box or you previously had it connected via Ethernet.
