HD+ box signal strenght 1+2 good, Sky channels good but no signal BBC+ITV+C4

Morning, I have rebooted the box and done a softare update. The signal coming in the box is good, weather is perfect, all Sky channels are perfect but the "free" UK channels show as "Mini TV unavailable, no satellite signal" and when clicking on one "your sky box ins'nt getting a satellite signal". Can anyone elp please? Many thanks

@Vanni
Have a look at this link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal
If that doesn’t help you’ll have to arrange an engineer to check your dish alignment.

Thank you for your reply @Daniel0210 , I have already looked at that link. I have been on the roof and the dish has not moved. The signal strenght is good on both channels so it should not be an alignement issue. Otherwise all channels should not be visible, not just the BBC ones. Or am I missing something? Thanks

Tune to one of the affected BBC channels and re-check your signal strengths. The white part of all four bars should be at least half way across.

"No Satellite Signal" usually indicates an issue with one or more of the following:

• The Dish is misaligned
• The Tuners in the sky box
• The input sockets on the Sky box
• The plugs on the cables
• The cables themselves
• The Sockets on the dishes LNB
• The dishes LNB has gone faulty for the connections the box is using

You may have to call out sky or a 3rd party satellite/aerial company

Note: If you have a communal dish then this is maintained by your landlord/building management and NOT sky

@Vanni You mention that you have been "up on the roof", this could be an issue if you do need to call Sky out as they tend not to go onto roofs anymore.

Hi @Anonymous that you for your suggestion, very useful. I did that and the Singnal 1 bars for BBC channels are at zero, while both Signal 1 and 2 are 3/4 full for the Sky channels that work fine. Does this mean that there is a mis-alignement for the BBC channels only, do you think? many thanks

Most likely, yes, I'm afraid. An engineer will be able to confirm.
