Getting TNT Sports on my Sky+ box

Hello, I have a Sky+ box and subscribe to TNT Sports through BT as part of a package with phone, broadband etc. Now BT have become part of EE, EE are telling me that from November when my package changes from BT to EE I won't be able to get TNT Sports through my Sky box and will have to get an EE TV box. Is this correct?

It's not something I'm aware of. I don't recall Sky making any announcement to that effect

Sky have ended support of Sky+ boxes ... perhaps EE are using that as an excuse to end support of Sky+ boxes ... or If it also apples to Sky Q that my indicate the end of DSat distribution🤔
