Existing viewing card requires pairing with existing box

Sky+ hd box was switched off at the mains for a few months , now powered back on. However the existing viewing card requires pairing. Card was paired previously before the box was switched off at the mains.

You could try carrying out a New Install, but I suspect you'll need to call to get your Viewing Card reinstated.

Is that a new install with a phone line connected to the box? Also Is calling to reinstate the card done by an automated call?

Sky+hd box not paired to existing viewing card after mains power was off for few months

Have existing sky hd box which was previously paired to existing viewing card. However after power was off at the mains for 2-3 months , everything is working properly apart from the on screen message " your viewing card needs to be paired to your sky+ hd box"  To pair them go to sky.com/quickfix

Broadband, rather than the phone line.

 

If that doesn't resolve it and you need to call, you'll need to speak in person to an adviser.
