I was trying to download a series on BBC3 and when trying Episodes 1 - 4 I get an error message that reads, 'There appears to be an issue with the broadband connection at this time.' and yet when I try to download Episode 5 and 6 there is no message and it downloads fine. This has also happened occasionally on other series, I think, on other channels. I contacted BBC iplayer and they said its a Sky issue. I rang Sky and they say they have no idea but maybe a software issue and I need a new box but surprise, surprise we don't make Sky+ boxes any more you'll have to buy a SkyQ box and pay for an engineer! I don't accept that there is a software issue that prevents my box downloading Episode 4 but not Episode 5, that doesn't make sense. There are no other issues with the box and I'm able to download loads of other programmes. My broadband is working just fine. I've been told my problem is unique so if someone has had something similar and solved it please can you let me know. Thanks.

Thank you that partly worked. I had previously searched for the series which is on BBC3 so I've just checked on Catch-up instead like you suggested and I was able to download Episode 1. Unfortunately none of the other Episodes up to no 4 are there. I watched Episode 1 hoping it would download Ep.2 automatically but it didn't. I feel reassured now that this is not a software problem on my box like was suggested by the Sky employee. Thank you for your help.
