My Sky + won't record programmes or let me playback ones I had recorded.
Message comes up-this viewing card is not authorised ,Sky + playback and recording not available.
Informed sky who say engineers can't fix those boxes now.
Agreed to new sky Q box being installed.
The date for this is August 5th,five and a half weeks time!
I am recently widowed,do not drive no transport links, is this normal wait time please?
Next week will be checking on the app to see if there has been a cancellation,don't expect there will be.
Also have telephone,broadband and films etc. customer over 25 years.

You should be sent a new viewing card for your Sky Q box so when it arrives insert this in your Sky+ box to see if it that starts working.

Sky are reducing the number of Sky installation engineers as part of the transition to Streaming services🤔
