The Disney+ Cinema channel is only available to those on Sky Q, Glass and Stream with a Sky Cinema subscription. All the content shown on it is available on the Disney+ app, again, only available to those with Sky Q, Glass or Stream.

Re: Disney Plus Cine HD
@mottflame yes, my understanding is that this channel isn't available to Sky+ users.

Re: Disney Plus Cine HD
So basically unless we upgrade to sky q we are paying for a channel that we cannot receive. If we cannot receive it on sky plus hd ... why add the channel at all. This all feels rather discriminatory against those customers who do not want to be forced to upgrade

If you chose not to take up Skys offer of a free upgrade a couple of years ago then you cannot complain when features are released for the supported services and not the obsolete one

Re: Disney Plus Cine HD
So why on earth did Sky put the Disney Movies channel on the HD+ epg ? Conversations with Sky technical do not elicit any sensible reason - they just don't seem to know!

Re: Disney Plus Cine HD
My point is if the technology still works why treat your customers unfairly if you only offer this to sky q then only add it to sky q and reduce my sky movie subscription as I am paying for a channel I cannot receive

Re: Disney Plus Cine HD
@mottflame The EPG is for shared both satellite systems but that does not mean the channel is available to watch on both.
Maybe Disney would only allow a license for Sky Q, but this is just guess work

Sky will upgrade you, most likely at no extra cost.
Why would they discount your Sky Cinema subs because you don't want to upgrade?
That is the price we must pay for sticking with the obsolete system, I personally don't care if Sky Q users get more service than Sky Plus users as upgrading would be a nightmare for my mother who is recovering from a stroke

Re: Disney Plus Cine HD
It's a largely pointless linear only channel in particularly on Stream since there is no On Demand content - all the movies are available via Disney+ app which the ads version is included with Sky Entertainment packages anyway.

You should find that the channel works on Sky Go if that's useful
