Have you confirmed with staff at the care home that your brother can have his own satellite dish attached to their building? Or do they have a communal dish suitable for Sky+?

Youve posted in the Sky+ forum. If that's the TV platform your brother has Sky may not be able to move it across to another address as Sky+ and Sky+HD are no longer supported. You'd have to speak to Sky regarding the options. Hopefully you have your brothers telephone password otherwise Sky may not speak with you.
