Unable to access Sky Sports on HD box

Dear Sir/madam

I have a sky HD box but am unable to view any Sky sports channels.  
I've tried pairing the viewing card but this won't work.

Can you help at all?

What error message do you see when you try to view one of the Sports channels?

It says

your Sky viewing card needs to be paired to your Sky+HD box

i tried this but it didn't work

Has it been working up to now or have you recently starting using a replacement Sky+ box ?

Hi, it's the same box but my sky wasn't working due to the signal being blocked by trees that have now been taken down.

so now the other channels work but not the sky sports ones which I have on subscription

What onscreen message do you see when trying to watch on of these channels ?

@Tiffany17 for how long was your Sky box not receiving a signal because of the trees? It may have missed the regular 'keep alive' signal sent by Sky and you may need to call Sky to re-pair your Viewing Card as a result. Providing it's the same box they should be able to pair it for you (though they'll likely try to persuade you to upgrade to Sky Q).
