Can't get my remote to record things

I'm trying to record some programmes for the week ahead and the record button is not working.

 All other buttons seem to work. I've changed the batteries but that's not helped.

Try rebooting your Sky+ box at the mains.

My record button on my sky remote will not work, I have tried re booting but still not working.

Reboot you box and/or take the remote apart an clean the internal (See my Sky Plus FAQ for help)

 

If you need to purchase a new remote the use the record button on the front of the Sky Box as a temporary work-a-round
