Re: Broken dish
@Gat2 You have posted on the sky plus board which sky no longer supports unless you have sky protect insurance
so you would have to either fix it yourself or employ the service of an independent contractor at cost to you
unless you have the insurance?

Re: Broken dish
Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky Plus
Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy/obsolete service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Glass, and/or Sky Stream.
Satellite TV is on its last legs and is being replaced due to the lack of any new satellites being launched to replace the existing ones that are at the end of their service

hi @Gat2
It is possible to repair yourself using F plugs & an F-F connector
F Connectors
However, the whole repair must be wrapped in self-amalgamting tape to ensure it is fully weatherproof.
I can link a youtube video for fitting the F-plugs if you did need it.
That said, probably best to get a local Satellite installer to replace the whole cable
