I've got a sky signature package - recently dropped the movie package - can get all the BBC stuff, C4, C5 etc but can only get Sky arts and not any other Sky channels such as Atlantic, Witness and Sky one

@TT39 that explains it. I'm afraid you'll need to contact Sky to request a replacement Viewing Card. You don't have to upgrade if they tell you otherwise.
Do you also have the HD package on your account if you are seeing an upgrade message ?
