2nd had box

Hi 

 

i invested in a 2nd HD box so i could record seperately from main tv ! box plays ok but says it won't record even though it has a hard drive

If this box has no paired Sky viewing card then this box will not be able to use the recording features

As @Annie+UK indicates, use of the hard drive is a subscription function, and so on Sky+ HD requires a viewing card in the box which is associated with an account that has the Multiroom add-on.
