This indcates an issue with the connection from the dish either the socket on the box, the cable or the LNB on the dish

It means you have no signal from the dish reaching dish input 2. You could try turning your Sky box off at the plug and checking that the dish connections at the rear of the box are securely fitted and finger tight.

Turning your Sky box off and on or tightening the cables should not affect your TV brightness
