If you have Sky Q, you might not know about the hidden menu. It has extra features, including the ability to change Wi-Fi bands. If you're not able to launch one of your apps, like Netflix, and you're getting the error message: "there is a problem refreshing apps" - try this tip .
To access the hidden menu, simply follow these steps...
Follow these instructions in successively, with no breaks between steps:
Press the ‘Home’ button on your remote control.
Scroll down to ‘Settings’ and DO NOT press select.
Press ‘001’.
Press ‘Select’
Inside the engineers menu, you can then try refreshing the apps. To do this:
Select the Apps option inside the hidden menu.
Then click Refresh all Apps on this box.
You'll see: 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
Please note: refreshing your apps can take up to 24 hours to complete.

Sky can sometimes push content to the Q boxes.
Press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings.
With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select.
