Dark mode has exploded in popularity in recent years, like Social Media and on TV; it's less strain on your eyes and great for neurodivergent or visually impaired customers.

The feature replaces the current look with a black background.
How to find dark mode on Sky Q
Dark mode is called 'high contrast' on Sky Q. To enable it, all you need to do:
-
Press Home on your Sky Q remote and select Settings.
-
Select Accessibility, then High contrast and change the setting from Off to On.
-
Press Dismiss to return to live TV.
For additional support, you can also get a Sky Q Accessibility remote which has:
- Raised contour buttons with additional tactile points
- Larger and bolder button graphics
- High visibility buttons
If you’d like to get a free accessibility remote, contact our dedicated accessibility team on 0344 241 0333 from the UK, and 0818 71 98 09 from the Republic of Ireland
