want to remove pin number on itvx

Why do I need to put my pin number in on itvx every time when I go onto through Sky Stream How can I save it as I can on other channels.  When I go onto Roku I do not need to put pin number in as I was able to save.  I do not need to put pin numbers into many channels as my default is not to ( very old person - no children here)

Hi @wumph 

Live TV may require a pin if they are broadcasting post watershed content before the watershed and you will need to enter a pin no matter what your settings are. This is called mandatory daytime protection and is an ofcom requirement.

In terms of ITV X - this isn't a Sky application (it's maintained by ITV). According to their support site you can disable pin by following these instructions: https://support.itv.com/en_us/how-do-i-turn-off-pin-protection-H1RvzlsGj

Thank you for your response.  I will try that,  I realise that thee are controls, I am currenly (at 9.30 a.m.) watching Law & Order on Sky Witness and I always have to put my pin no in there but thats just like in the ATM m/c.  the ITVx is moving around a keypad.  I also stream and then watch in the middle of the night (old person) which is why I bought a Roku for the bedroom tv.  I will go on the link you sent but again,  many thanks. x

Oh thank you  have just done it.  Now I can watch the Twelve without my pin.   Grateful arthritic pensioner. x
