small display on my hisense tv

• Hi, i have a sky puck, watching tv last night, no issues, i've turned it on this morning and the picture has come up very small on the screen. i have a hisense tv, tried all the screen settings and no difference, have reset the sky box, the same. Other things on my tv are ok ( ie netflix ).

look at picture ratio settings on tv and make sure it's not on dot to dot if it's not that i'm not sure what else to try hope this works for you

Hi @scotty1892 and welcome to the forum.  You say you have reset your puck but try unplugging the puck and leaving it unplugged for a while (10-15 minutes should do it).  When you plug it back in again it will take a couple of minutes to reboot.  This tends to remove software glitches and may solve the problem for you.

When you say screen settings, do you mean the picture settings on the puck or within the settings on the Hisense TV.

Does sound like it maybe aspect ratio on the Hisense TV has changed.

Go to Home screen on your puck and play out a channel, do not worry it's displaying wrong at this stage.

Pick up your your Hisense TV remote, click on the settings button, select settings>picture>aspect ratio and change the aspect ratio to automatic.

That will change the hdmi settings for the puck to that aspect ratio or reset it.

Put the puck into standby along with the TV into standby too.

Might be worth repowering the TV at the socket.

Try the puck now, it should pick up the changed aspect ratio.
