Stream does need to be supported by a good ISP service.... more find Stream reasonable rather than poor😉

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI have just moved from Sky Q to Sky stream this week and am liking it very much, so far.

I've had Stream for coming up to 18 month now, 4 pucks all rock solid and wouldn't consider a return to Q, Picture quality on Stream is far superior in HD and UHD.

Apart from the odd 'please wait for programme to load' and the occasional freeze ( which is mostly ITV X ) the system is sooooo much better than when I first got it in Oct 2022.
Going back to Q now would seem like a backward step.
Never even think about recordings anymore.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreMost stream issues come from an unstable WiFi connection (speed and consistency of WiFi)
you can get around this with Ethernet cables via Powerline or direct to router
a better router or a WiFi mesh system
