Those are usually symptomatic of a problematic broadband connection. Sky Stream relies entirely on you providing the puck with a fast, stable and constant connection to Sky's servers so that SkyOS can function.

Have you run the speed check from the Netflix app's 'get help' menu? What speed does the puck report as receiving?

Sky recommend a minimum of 25Mbps for a single puck to stream HD reliably, but much more is preferable. If you have a busy household with many devices uses bandwidth, speed fluctuations can also be detrimental to the Sky Stream experience.

Troubleshooting your home broadband network is a good place to start if you want to try and improve your Sky Stream experience.

Sounds like you have issues with your pucks and setup that need looking at in detail or maybe replacement.

I've escalated this to Sky and they should be in touch with you soon about it.
Look out for a message from Sky on your email and Sky Community private messages.
Look out for the blue chat bubble within your Sky community.

OK, that's fine. Having Sky Broadband doesn't make Sky Stream work any better. It still relies on the customer making sure the connection between the Sky router and the Stream puck is of sufficient speed and quality for the service to function, be it via WiFi or ethernet.

Oh and it's not an excuse. I didn't like Sky Stream and ditched it ages ago.

Re: sky pucks

I had issues with one of my pucks (I have 2), which was locking up and then switching to a black screen. No response to the remote control.

I spoke with Sky Tech, and they confirmed they could see the issues I was having (not sure how!), but this has been referred to the "back office", who apparently will be pushing out a software update to rectify the issues.

I've taken a screenshot of my current info so I can monitor whether an update takes place.
