can you record programs using sky stream

I'm thinking of joining Sky and getting Stream, I'm currently a VM custormer and I have TV series I watch set up as series links so I never miss them. I believe tha Stream doesn;t allow for recording of programmes and was wondering how it works it works in terms of being able to watch programmes back after they have aired. Can a DVR be added to the Stream puck to enable recording?

Thanks

No: HDCP exists specifically to prevent that.

'Recording' on Stream is a mixture of in-app on demand playback and (allegedly) user cloud storage.  Which of these gets used (or none at all is available) is down to each item of content, over which the subscriber has no control.
