Wi-Fi will not stay off

My Sky Puck connects to the internet using an Ethernet cable plugged directly into my router.

For the past week or two the puck wants to connect to the wi-fi connection when first turned on, this is caused by the wifi cinnection turning on when the puck boots for the first time.

I have reset the network on the puck, this made no difference.

Any ideas how I get the Wi-Fi to stay turned off?

@MegMyDog  When you turn the wifi off are you also rebooting/restarting the puck?

@MegMyDog   If you go into Settings, (either scroll down the home page, or use the voice button and say"Settings"

Go to Network, then Advance settings, and check if WiFi is turned off.

Re: Wi-Fi will not stay off

That is what I am doing.

It turns itself on when I start my puck..

Trying to find out how to get it to stay off.

@MegMyDog I suspect it's a firmware issue. On Glass we had an issue recently where the backlight wouldn't stay off, it defaulted back to on.

Re: Wi-Fi will not stay off

I think you are correct with that, wait on a firmware update see if that fixes this issue.

For the moment I hace connected using Wi-Fi. just to get rid of the annoying blue screens
