Why is Xumo link your account showing??

I have repeatedly restarted and gone through the process of trying to set up sky stream but i get asked to repeatedly link my account with Xumo. I don't have xumo and i bought the box from Sky. What should i do?

This is what it shows. I've repeatedly pressed try again but it doesn't work.

Xumo isn't unrelated to Sky: Xumo LLC is a US joint venture between Charter Communications and the Comcast Corporation, and Comcast owns Sky Group.  You shouldn't be seeing its login when setting up a Stream puck though: the Xumo box is physically somewhat different (and as far as I know hasn't been distributed in Europe) although it does run essentially the same operating system and talks to Comcast servers in the same way a Stream puck does.

The Xumo Play app has been on Glass and Stream since July 2024

Personally I'd think you should log the issue with Sky and book a swap-out: I guess it's possible a test device has escaped into the wild.

I would  call sky about this and talk to an advisor about your  issues  and ask for a replacement
