Why have I been charged for my bill when I haven’t set up my puck

I have not even set up my puck for TV but I have been charged. Assistance are not helpful. Also set me up for direct debit but I never agreed to that.
I thought I was only going to get charged once I set up the pucks but I have now been charged without even setting up or watching the them

@LisaMartin1234   As far as I am aware all Stream accounts are on direct debit, and you must have given them your bank details.  The puck usually comes the next day so it is really down to you how quickly you set it up.

@LisaMartin1234  Pucks are automatically activated after 21 days,  regardless of setting it up, therefore billing will commence for this service.

Not setting it up does not exclude you from being billed

Streaming TV billing starts when you activate your Sky Stream puck* and any subscriptions are charged a month in advance.

*One to watch out for: If you don’t activate your Sky Stream puck within 21 days of delivery, your subscription and billing will start automatically.
