Over the last couple of days i've noticed an issue with trying to fast forward a show once the broadcast has ended whilst using the "Watch From Start" feature.
The show plays fine with no issues but once the broadcast has ended, if you try to subsquently use fast forward it takes you back right to the start of the show. In fact you can't go past the point you got to without exiting the show and then loading it fresh from the playlist. Obviously this means you then have to know whereabouts in the show you got and fast forward to the point you were kicked out.
Any one else noticed this?

Fast forward when playing from start
When using the play from start function and trying to fast forward it goes back to start of program. If you hold the fast forward down it skips to next live TV.

I have this problem too. Started happening in the last month or so and is very frustrating.
It happens when the programme you are 'watching from start' has finished on 'Live' tv. It's ok up to that point.
Instead of fast forwarding you are taken to the programme that is currently Live.

@MarkGoldsmith I had exactly the same issue today. I wanted to watch the ITV lunchtime News bulletin followed by my local Channel TV news. I missed the beginning so selected watch from start and once the UK weather started I used FF to get to the beginning of my local news and it jumped forward to live ITV bypassing my local news altogether. Very annoying but now I know what to expect I can live with it until it gets resolved. TBH I thought it was just me and didn't realise it was effecting other stream subscribers.

All This has been raised to Sky in the closed forum, they are currently investigating this issue

Losing programme when fast forwarding
I'm having an issue at the moment when I'm watching a programme on catch up, mostly when I select 'watch from start' .. when it comes to adverts, and when I fast forward it seems to stick then goes back to the previous programme and I can't stop the fast forward, so I have to press the back button to come out of it completely which means I end up back on live tv?!

@Katrina2511 I have experienced this issue a number of times myself and it was brought up on the closed forum earlier in the week so Sky are aware. I have requested your post be merged with this thread

I'm having same issue with fast forward and prog when start from beginning, happened 5 times in a month, very annoying as can't watch the prog till following day

Hi all,
I wanted to let you know we are investigating an issue with Watch from Start where on occasions using fast forward or rewind on programs it jumps back to Live TV.
I'm really sorry this is happening but we have the right teams working to get this resolved as soon as possible.
Workaround: Instead you can search for the programme (using voice or the menus) and then restart the programme this way.

Hello, thanks for the update, and i do hope you fix this soon, as its happening everytime, and if you try to search and watch again, it comes up with a FAIL DIALOGUE, SAYING WHOOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG which is annoying and you are unable to watch till following day, please fix, thanks Ian

I have the same problem with Sky Stream in Ireland. The problem was introduced in a recent software release, as it wasn't like this from the start.
It's another part of the reason why I'm looking at alternative suppliers.

forwarding tv
Hi all
when i pause my sky glass and start to watch it again when the atual program i have paused finishes it goes of and just goes back to the live tv that is on like the next program this does not seem right its like if i am 10min behind it just goes back to live tv as the next program has started
