worked for me using the number buttons. if you find the talk to remote isn't working it's because the volume buttons arnt working i found that out. my talk to remote wasn't working neither were my volume buttons.  got the volume buttons to work and now the talk to remote works

Even when you do this the volume doesn't work. No instructions appearing in the Remote Control set up screen. Just the blue circle Please Wait   Sold as an upgrade to Sky HD box. I beg to differ it's for Sky to sort this out not customers

Mine was a new mini box but kept pairing ok but then not working volume on Tv. I looked on back of TV and got exact model of tv and it's working now

We followed these actual setting steps, the key was finding our exact tv then it worked perfectly

Doesn't work for me all of a sudden it says doesn't now support my television model even though my television hasn't changed?

If you have had to use an wired connection to turn on your internet on your Sky tv , the volume buttons won't work, however the voice button works. 
I had City fibre optic fitted but the Qbox refused to connect to the internet, neither could I record or stream anything. AI told me to  connect using an Ethernet cableI. I unplugged the power from the hub and the Qbox waited about a minute, plugged the Ethernet cable into a spare port, the cityfibre hub has 4, plugged the power cables back into Qbox and hub and I finally got most of the Sky services back , I can now record , stream , use the voice button works but not the volume control but the Panasonic tv remote takes care of that. I did not find Sky very helpful and I'm quite unhappy with them. However I'm quietly pleased with myself that after 7 days trying I managed to find a solution. I hope this info helps someone else.

@Skelmersdale35 I don't think that's correct. The volume controls work whether your Puck is connected to the internet over wifi or by ethernet cable. You might need to re-pair your Puck and the remote, by following the instructions in the post marked as Answer.

Turned out the problem was the box and  not the remote . They sent me a new mini box after various tests . Thanks for replying
