I am a new customer and installed Sky Stream yesterday. I was impressed how easy the product was to install. However, after 24 hours I am having an issue with the voice search function. It worked initially but now I continually get the "Sorry I didn't catch that message".
I have tried a reset and a power reset without success.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

@pajesq voicesearch uses bluetooth from the remote to the puck. Bluetooth has a limited range and can be blocked if something is in the way but should work well if you are under 5 metres in front of the TV. If it doesnt and changing the batteries in the remote doesnt help give Sky a call to get the remote changed.

Re: Voice search
@pajesq This may seem obvious, but just to check, do you keep the voice button depressed for the whole length of time you are speaking?

Re: Voice search
Thanks for your response. Yes I do keep the voice button depressed until I've finished speaking. And it did work after the initial set up

Re: Voice search
Thank you for your response.
I have replaced the batteries and done various resets including full WiFi reboot. On each occasion, the first voice command works but fails after that with the "sorry I didn't catch that " message.
Is a replacement the only option ?

Re: Voice search
While waiting for your replacement remote.
Have you tried repairing your current remote from scratch.
- Press and hold 7 and 9 together for 3 seconds.
- Press and hold 1 and 3 together for 3 seconds.
- Wait until you see the 'Your remote is now connected' message and select Continue.
Plus, also even restarting your broadband router/hub wi the Sky Stream puck in standby.

Re: Voice search
Hi
Thanks for your reply. I did try that a couple of times, and on each occasion the first voice command worked but after that, I got "sorry, I didn't catch that"
I'm hoping the replacement works !
