Voice and number search stops

I have just changed to Stream, and within a week one of the remotes has stopped recognising voice requests to search. It opens the prompt, but doesn't recognise anything you say. It has also stopped letting you type in the channel numbers to search. My mums has also done the same twice, and we have had to power off and re-pair. Does anyone else get this issue?

Hi @botty1963  A restart through the settings > system management > resets & updates > restart device may sort it out for you.  Note you will get a blank screen for a couple of minutes until the Sky logo appears.

Hi @botty1963  A restart through the settings > system management > resets & updates > restart device may sort it out for you.  Note you will get a blank screen for a couple of minutes until the Sky logo appears.

Hi, I did a reset and all ok. I was just wondering if it is a common issue?

@botty1963 it's not particularly common but it does happen from time to time, I've had it once or twice in the past few months.

@botty1963  It doesn't seem to be very common but coincidentally happened to me last week and a restart resolved it.

 

FYI - at the first sign of any issue a restart is a good first step as it tends to remove small software glitches.
