Voice Control not working for me after Q36 update.

Voice control won't work for me after Q36 update. I've tried rebooting from settings and unplugging it for an few minutes and neither works. It started with Q35 for me but a reboot fixed that for a few hours, it doesn't with this version.

On your remote control press and hold 7&9 for a few seconds followed by 1&3 for a few seconds and follow the instructions @Veii hopefully that'll fix it.

That's exactly the same issue for me. I keep having to do an unpair and repair or doing a restart to get it working and it then works but the issue keeps occurring. It's yet another issue for Sky to fix. No doubt they will say something like it's our network or ISP and don't take any responsibility. It's simply not good enough and there are too many issues and lack of ownership

 

 Come on Sky, you can do better than this

They sent me a replacement controller but still same issues. It's all started happening recently since QS35

Wow @Super+Anthony  I just can't believe how unlucky you are as you seem to have every issue imaginable.  Without doubt, if I was in your position I would have cancelled Stream long ago and moved back to Sky Q. Is this something you have considered? It might save you some ongoing frustration.

It's not a common issue. I'd speak to Sky again, if it's bothersome.

@Fothergill1  thought about it but it is ridiculous that you have to cancel one account and set up a new one and not have Sky for a week.

 Doesn't make no sense when same firm 

 

But I prefer Stream though with the design and moving around, if that makes sense
