Very Annoyed

For the last month Sky TV suddenly stops streaming. No warning and completely random and I get the message'There is a Technical Problem. Please  Try Again Later'.  Everything else connected to the Internet still operates as normal. Sometimes it's one channel, other times it's all channels. Sometimes you're straight back , other times it's out for ages. None of the Sky pages covers it and I'm waiting for a reply from Sky themselves! Why can't you speak to a human when the AI system can't deal with issues.

Have tried  unplugging the  puck  or tv at the mains for a while to see if that works?

We are all fellow customers on here

Re: Very Annoyed

The messages is generally generated when the WiFi signal is weak a reboot helps but doesn't resolve it long term.  If you can use an ethernet cable from the router to the Puck. Alternatively move the router closer and ensure the Puck isn't hidden away from sight.

You can run a WiFi test in the Netflix app under settings.

Re: Very Annoyed

This all sounds a little familiar. I have been without TV for 6 days now, I am a pensioner and tv is my company. I have been trying for 6 days to get through to someone but to no avail, I would like to change suppliers but I am unable to afford to change with over 12mths to go on contract. I am as perhaps you have been hanging on for an agent to reply, some days I have spoken to agent but its all jargon, I am very disappointed with Sky they are nearly as bad as Virgin.  I did get through to someone at the weekend but he was Asian, spoke very quickly, who knows what he was saying.  Hope you have some luck.  I keep getting ' no service box on screen.

Statutory consumer rights still apply: if Sky is unable to remedy the situation and deliver the service adequately then they are obligated to release a customer from any remaining minimum contract term without penalty.
