VPN/ Proxys
So some apps inc Netflix aren't working today (nothing about the streaming set up has changed) as they say I'm running through a VPN or Proxy...
No proxys are activated, can't find any VPN 's where might they be hiding?

Only guesswork but Your ISP may have issued you an external IP address that has newly been released and is not updated yet across the various streaming servers
If the above is correct then you can try pulling the plug on your router for 30 minutes or so as this will normally force your router to pick up a different IP address
are you based in the UK ?

Re: VPN/ Proxys
Hi. I am based in the Uk.
I tried resetting the router, but only turned it off for about 10 seconds. So I'll try longer, thanks.
otherwise I guess a call to Sky is next. Sigh

Which ISP are you with ? It maybe a better idea to call your ISP rather than sky . It seems likely your ISP is using IP addresses that are not geo located in the UK

Re: VPN/ Proxys
As mentioned above, leaving a router off for at least 30 minutes, will often reset your IP address.
You can just type 'what's my ip' into a browser search engine.
It will show a location or map, sometimes near to your location, but it sometimes can be anywhere in the UK.
Who is your broadband with?
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.
