Using sky stream and discovery plus

I'm trying to get on discovery plus with my sky stream puck, but every time I go to watch something it says I need to upgrade. I have followed all the usual steps but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions.?

Have you taken out a subscription (at £0) in Sky Marketplace and linked your Sky and discovery+ account as outlined here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/discovery-plus

I had sky Q and switched to sky stream, discovery worked fine on sky Q but will not work now. When I go into to sky shop it is not an option which I thought it meant I'm already connected
