Ultra HD

Why am I not getting the option to watch ultra HD on sky sports Premier League channel and others but I use to before? Can only watch in ultra HD on main event. Some help to fix this problem would be very much appreciated 👍

Have you  taken  the ultra hd subscription? But I am not sure if  there  is  one for the puck is know  that  the ultra hd  subscription  is in with  the dolby  atmos  surround sound

Yes I pay extra for ultra HD subscription. Just can't seem to get ultra HD on any other channels apart from main event as from before if I was watching something on sky sports premier League it would give me the option to press over to ultra HD but nothing seems to come up anymore

 If it was working on your puck and TV before, you may have lost your setting below;

Go to the puck Settings.

Select Picture and sound, then highlight Picture format.

Choose 2160p (UHD).

Select 10-bit so you can watch in HDR too.

Not sure if your TV supports 10-bit? Select Find it for me. It if can it will select 10-bit, if not it'll select 8-bit and you won't be able to watch in HDR.

By the way  the only Sports live channels that provide UHD are Sky Sports Main event UHD and Sky Sports F1 UHD.

Any other UHD a content, like Sky PL/EFL and cricket will be made available by an on screen 'watch in uhd ' prompt.

If you look at the Home>Sports>football live rail, you will see the various tiled matches with uhd available.

A lot of Sky On demand entertainment content is also provided in uhd.

For that, just say 'uhd' or 'hdr' into your Sky voice remote.

I've looked and my subscription for ultra HD is still active I've checked my settings/picture and it is on 2160p. As for the 10 bit thing nothing came up about that

@Jordan114  Ignore the 10bit option the puck will auto select on detecting a set that uses 10 bit colour.

Any more ideas then as to why I'm not getting the option for ultra HD on other channels then mate?

@Jordan114  You should be able to see UHD on Sly Sports ME & Sky Sports F1 , what version of Sky sports do you see at 401?

401 sky sport main event ultra HD but like I said I'm not getting it on any other channels like sky sports premier League

@Jordan114  Only Sky Sports ME & F1 are full time UHD channels.

When there are multiple matches some may not be in UHD as Sky has limited UHD capacity, if no banner appears for UHD it may be that the match isn't in UHD.

Hopefully this link https://www.live-footballontv.com/football-in-4k-ultra-hd.html  will have the correct matches scheduled for UHD
