I called sky about this and they told me this error code doesn't exist even though I was looking at it on my screen.

they were adamant the issue was with my router even though UHD on the cricket channel works using the workaround previously posted and this only seems to be popping up since they rearranged the sky sports channel numbers 

They were really unhelpful and didn't see to have an answer at all

Hi @Joskie1 and welcome to the forum.  This error message has been appearing for the last week or so and to date I don't believe anyone has found a solution.  Have a look at this THREAD on the same subject.

For the last week or so I get an error when clicking the coloured button to watch in UHD (see images). Soetimes there is an option at the bottom of the screen (next to the watch from the start button), this works and switches to UHD. I performed a factory reset of the puck but that wasn't a good idea (didn't fix the problem and was more trouble than it was worth!)

Any advice welcome.

It doesn't work and Sky will notacknowledge it. You have got it forthe moment. Watch from Start andthen fast forward until it stops, you are now watching it live.

I have, and typically their response was that it must be my set up:

yep, standard response, rather than look into  the problem and fix it

I got exactly the same reply which is no help at all and just blames you

Gave them my account number and they asked me to check if i had UHD set up which they could tell if they looked at the details i gave them

Workarounds arent working for me so have to make do with HD for now

Sky need to get all their sports channels in UHD and if not all at least the main ones with a lot of live sport on them

This was why I was so pleased to find 'bodhidhamma's 'rewind to the beginning' workaround which worked for me (as did my additional 'select from tv guide' build on the solution). Not ideal, as I said it would be nice if Sky actually addressed the core issue as all help information seems to boil down to 'check your setup and subscription' but personally I'd rather use a workaround to achieve my objective than moan about sky and continue watching in HD

I've noticed in the pop up menu it says Select to watch in UHD and Channel 904 appears 😁

Sky appeared to have fixed it! Working normally via the dots. I am on stream so using the puck, but glass is just a tv with a puck inside so I assume it is working for all.
