Having learned I can transfer to Stream from Q mid contract by going thru the motions online, I find I am being dictated to pay for products not available on Q (certainly not currently paying for anyway) and one product, which is Whole Home, that isn't being offered to me on their list. Whole Home is essential for us a a family as we currently have four Mini boxes plus the Q box. Does anybody know if this offer that appears to be a fixed offer is actually negotiable?

@bam+I You may be best speaking to Sky to see if they can give you a better offer than online. Whole Home costs does cover up to 3 Glass TV's & 6 stream pucks on the one account in addition to your main subs.
43" Glass TV & Puck Whole Home

Re: Transfer to Stream from Q mid contract
Whole home subscription replaces you sky multi room and you get 1 puck for free and you will have to pay ££39.99 for each extra puck you need, also you will have to send your sky q equipment back as you only loan it, and you will have to bills to pay in the month, your last sky q bill and your new sky stream subscription as you will have to take out a different subscription

Also you will lose all your recording from your sky q. As you can not have two different subscriptions at the same address, and stream glass doesn't record it has a play list check out the videos on YouTube on how sky glass and pucks work

Re: Transfer to Stream from Q mid contract
I figured it might be best to discuss with Sky direct, which I will do, I just found it odd that whole home was not offered in their list when they would have known I have multi room with Q. I'm guessing I will pay £12.00 when negotiated on the phone for whole home, and I do know that I will need 5 pucks, but I do not want uhd, Dolby atmos or ad free Netflix which all came up on their list as products I had to have and pay for.

Re: Transfer to Stream from Q mid contract
That will will not be fast enough as each puck needs a minimum of 25mps to watch hd channels, at that speed the pucks will most likely keep freezing and not work properly is that the only internet you can get, i would say you need at least 500mps for that setup

Re: Transfer to Stream from Q mid contract
Thx for the info however only 3 pucks will ever be used at the same time as 2 family members have minis in a lounge each and their bedrooms each. So, using your helpful calculations I will need around 75mps at any one time.
What I struggle with most is why Sky financially overtly penalise a customer of 23yrs over a new customer. Looking at the numbers I have been quoted £52.00 for Ultimate with Sports+, yet when sourcing a cost as a new client I am quoted £42.00 for the same two products. So much value put on loyalty eh!
