Technical issue on Sky Stream

We had Sky Q but now have Sky Stream. 2 pucks one in living room works fine. The other in our bedroom which when we click on a programme says Technical issue at current time. Try again later. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sky Home Screen is all good and we're getting list of channels etc it's just when we click on a programme this blue screen comes up. We have UHD cables on both as our living room is UHD compatible but our bedroom isn't, could it be this? Bedroom tv is HD tv. Can anyone help?

@ALJ1325  What is your wifi speed to the hub that's affected?   Could you use ethernet or powerline adapters instead?

@ALJ1325  The ethernet cable would go from the puck to your router.  As advised you could check out powerline adapters.

@ALJ1325  Did you unplug he puck for 1 minute and plug back in?   You will aso need to go into the settings menu to tell the puck it's using ethernet.

Re: Technical issue on Sky Stream

It's really not pretty but it's working now! Ethernet cable across the length of our bungalow but hey it's a workaround 👍

THANK YOU

not sure why it worked in the bedroom before when we had sky q but not now we have sky stream. The tv and the bedroom are the same?

@ALJ1325  Sly Q boxes acted as wifi repeaters, Stream pucks don't

@ALJ1325 If you want to void the Ethernet cable across the length of the bungalow you could consider Powerline Adapters which are about £35 on Amazon.  Don't waste money on a Gb model as Glass and Stream Ethernet ports only support 100mbps.

For a small outlay it might be worth a try 😀
